Chemical and petrochemical industry
The chemical and petrochemical industry requires a lot of energy. The products are made by cracking and distilling a given petroleum material. To carry out the cracking process, the material must be heated to temperatures as high as 800 degrees Celsius. During this process, the residual heat is used to convert the water into high-pressure steam of 100 bar. The extremely high pressure places high demands on the materials.
The smallest amount of contamination in the water could cause major damage to the system. Therefore, the quality of this water must be extremely pure, from a chemical perspective. In practice, the conductivity of the product is between 0.05 and 0.1 µS/cm. Evilim can customize the level of water purity in line with its customers’ requirements.
